Even though children don't legally have as much power as adults in our societies, there are still many things that you can do to help fight climate change and make the world a better place. There are youth-led movements all around the world, so feel empowered knowing you're not alone in this fight against corporate greed and government inaction. You can make a difference.
Here are some ways that you can take action, help the environment and help change the world at the same time in November:
- Speak up if you hear someone spreading lies about climate change or other important subjects. Sometimes people don't really know about the things they talk about and use false information they read online. If you know about the subject, tell them the truth. Also tell them where they can find the right information.
- Join local youth groups and activities that work for a better future. Let your voice be heard.
- Learn about the world around you. Your local library has lots of information about the environment you live in. Use this information to make better choices about how you live with nature and feel love towards the planet you live on. Get excited about the world and follow your interests!
